Most of the ICommander Enhanced Printing for laser printers is automatic and
essentially invisible to users. ICommander also supports user creation of text
files with various Enhanced Printing markup tags when it is desired to insert a
Letterhead or Banner image at the top of a memo or documentation.
This may be also be used to insert, for example, a Pie or Bar Chart image within the body of a memo or letter. There are a minimal number of easy to use tags for this, changing fonts, and other formatting options.
If you want to get really creative (when developing documentation for example), you may also utilize direct Print Wizard Markup tags. These are very similar to HTML tags but with many extensions that are beneficial to formatting reports for printing vs for a web browser to interpret. They may be used to draw boxes, do reverse printing, underlining, etc. The Print Wizard Manual documents all of the commands available. However, using the tags is best learned by example. We recommend that users who want to explore free-form use of the Print Wizard tags contact us to obtain some examples to help get started.
Some of the Guides available in PDF Form on the ICommander Standard Help Topics
Menu were created using Print Wizard Mark-Up commands in a text file.
