The Remittance Cross-Reference File is created using Purchaser Owner Codes,
Lease-ID's, Interest-Types, and Product-Codes from fields in the Purchaser
Lease Match-Up File. It is used for entry of revenue directly from Purchaser
Remittance Advices. The Cross-Reference File is updated as changes are made
to the Match-Up File but it should periodically be recreated in order to
remove deleted records.

Oil & Gas Revenue System Period-End Processing Menu

1 Process Period-End Update of G/L Distributions
The Period-End Update Process transfers Current G/L Distributions to a
Cumulative G/L Distribution History File and deletes the records from the
Current File. The process also resets Period-to-Date Totals in the Purchaser
Lease Match-Up File to Zero to start accumulation for a new period. If the
Period-End being processed is the last month of the Fiscal Year, the Fiscal
Year-to-Date Totals are also cleared.
